Terms of Use

Last updated: April 21, 2026

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Steady Dad iOS application ("App") or visiting our landing page at steady-dad.com (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or distribute the App or any part of it.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Steady Dad and its licensors.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

Steady Dad offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription with the following terms:

  • Monthly plan: $3.99 per month
  • Annual plan: $27.99 per year (save 42% vs. monthly)
  • Free trial: New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.

All subscriptions are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.

Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are subject to Apple's App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, please contact Apple Support.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Steady Dad is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content in the App — including affirmations, mantras, and breathing exercises — is for informational and motivational purposes only.

The App is not a substitute for professional care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any emergency, call your local emergency number, visit the nearest emergency room, or contact a qualified mental health professional immediately. Do not rely on the App as a replacement for professional help.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical or mental health condition.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
  • Circumvent any content protection or access controls
  • Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, logos, text, and software provided through the Services are owned by Steady Dad or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any material provided through the Services without our prior written consent.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property rights.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Uninstalling the App will cancel your access to locally stored data and features, but active subscriptions must be canceled separately through your Apple ID settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Steady Dad, its founders, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100.00), whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steady Dad and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
